Equipment for Physically Active Learning
One of the best parts of physically active learning is that it’s simple and cost-effective. Specialized equipment is not required to get started with NS ASK physically active learning lessons, nor are specially built outdoor learning structures!
We often say that taking on NS ASK is mostly about becoming willing to think outside of the box about what spaces in a schoolyard are appropriate and supportive of academic learning and movement for all learners!
NS ASK physically active learning lessons can be run in nearly any outdoor and some indoor settings as well. For example, bus loops that usually go unused during instructional time have become a favourite location for many classes!
