Explanation

You can play regular dodgeball with two teams or danish dodgeball according to the ordinary rules. When a player is hit by a ball, he or she must leave the field or go to the teacher. The pupil must perform a course-related task before he or she is allowed to continue playing/allowed again in the game.

This task can be, for example, to do a vocabulary test or a question from the multiplication table. 

Variation/progression

It is possible to play with two balls at the same time in order to increase the intensity of the game and the number of tasks to be performed.

Dodgeball can also be played with a net (at half the height of volleyball), so that the pupils can improve their ball-throwing technique by lifting their elbow over shoulder height.

With large classes, pupils should play on two different fields, so that all can take part in the activity.
