Explanation

Have students bring a whiteboard and marker into the gym or larger area indoors or outdoors. Group them according to the number of letters in a word that you want them to practice, such as a "no excuse" word. Group members must record a letter within the word given to them by the teacher, and then rearrange themselves within their group to spell the word. Groups can be given the same word or different words each round.
